Qualities of a successful person.

A lot of research had been done on the subject of success and failure.The secret of success can be learnt from life histories of successful people.successful people have certain qualities in common no Matter which period of histories they lived in and no Matter what their fields of endeavors.Some of the qualities to be successful person are;
1)Desire.The motivation to succeed comes from a burning desire to achieve a purpose. Napoleon quoted" whatever the mind of man can conceive and believe,the mind can achieve. So a burning desire is the starting point of all accomplishment Just like a small fire cannot give much heat ,so also a weak desire cannot produce great results

2)Commitment.Integrity(keeping your word)and wisdom are the two pillar on which to build and keep Commitment. We need to play to win which requires commitment. There is is big difference between playing to win and playing not to lose.When we play to win,we play with enthusiasm and commitment. However,when we play not to lose we play from a point of weakness. When we are playing not to lose ,we are playing to avoid Failure.I know that we all want to win,but few of us are prepared to pay the price to prepare to win. Winners does not win by happenstance but they condition and commit themselves to winning .
 "when we play to win,we play out of the inspiration vs when we pray not to lose ,we play out of desperation".There is a big difference between the two . In conclusion success is not In the achievement,but in the achieving .some people don't try because they are afraid to lose..At the same time ,they don't want to stay where they are because they are afraid to be left behind.There is risk either way. Commitment makes people who play to win prepare harder
